Why Face Oil?

+ It might seem obvious that dry skin is definitely a candidate for face oil but should you use it if your skin is naturally more oily? In a nutshell, yes.

+ While, this might seem counterintuitive, over-washing our skin without moisturising effectively can actually strip our skin of its natural oils and in turn cause overproduction of oil.

+ That's why both oily & dry skin types, & everything in between, need regular, high quality hydration. Exactly what our face oils deliver.

When to use?

If your skin tends to produce more natural oil, you may be able to apply oil to skin before moisturising, whereas if your skin is naturally dry it may be better to moisturise first and then apply you face oil as a final occlusive layer. Our Hormone Hero is our lightest face oil & suits skin on the oiler side or skin prone to hormonal breakouts.

+ Blue Tansy - Turns blue when extracted from chamomile. Heals & eases inflammation.

+ Camellia - Rich in Vit A, B & E & Omega 3, 6 and 9. Penetrates skin without clogging pores.

+ Jojoba - Most closely mimics our natural sebum. Very easily absorbed without overwhelming. 

+ Frankincense - Oil of truth and spirituality. Regulates the skin's sebum.

+ Geranium - Beautiful floral that eases inflammation, alleviates anxiety & balances hormones.
