The classic Peace Lily, but with a twist. Deep green leaves splashed and streaked with irregular patches of cream and white that make every leaf completely its own. The Jet Diamond is a rarer, more collectible take on one of the most loved indoor plants around, bringing the same easy, graceful nature of a standard Peace Lily with a variegation that genuinely sets it apart. A beautiful choice for a gift or a special addition to an existing collection.
CARE GUIDE
+ POSITION / LIGHT: Bright indirect light brings out the best variegation. Tolerates lower light better than most variegated plants, though the cream markings will be more defined in a brighter spot.
+ WATERING: Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged. Peace Lilies will droop dramatically when thirsty, which makes them one of the easier plants to read. Water thoroughly and allow to drain fully.
+ TEMPERATURE: Comfortable between 18–27°C. Keep away from cold drafts, air conditioning and temperatures below 15°C.
+ FERTILISER: Feed once a month through spring and summer with a diluted balanced liquid fertiliser. No feeding needed over winter.
+ GROWTH RATE: Moderate. Produces new leaves steadily, with each one revealing its own unique pattern of cream and green.
+ PET FRIENDLY: No, toxic to cats and dogs if ingested. Keep out of reach.
FAQ'S
1. My Peace Lily is drooping dramatically. Is it dying? Almost certainly just thirsty. Give it a thorough drink and it should perk back up within a few hours. Peace Lilies are expressive plants and drooping is their way of asking for water.
2. The cream variegation on my Jet Diamond is minimal on new leaves. Why? Variegation can vary from leaf to leaf and is influenced by light levels. Ensure it is getting bright indirect light and new growth should come through with more defined cream markings over time.
3. Can I propagate it? Yes. Divide the plant at the base during repotting, ensuring each division has healthy roots and at least a few leaves. Pot up in fresh well draining mix and keep consistently moist while it settles in.
