CARE GUIDE
+ POSITION / LIGHT: Bright indirect light keeps the soft cream and pink tones at their best. Tolerates lower light but the subtle colouring will fade over time.
+ WATERING: Allow the top 2–3cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Consistent moisture is welcome but soggy roots are not.
+ TEMPERATURE: Comfortable between 16–27°C. Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 12°C.
+ FERTILISER: Feed once a month through spring and summer with a diluted balanced liquid fertiliser. No feeding needed over winter.
+ GROWTH RATE: Moderate to fast. Grows quickly through the warmer months and can be trained to climb or left to trail naturally.
+ PET FRIENDLY: No, toxic to cats and dogs if ingested. Keep out of reach.
FAQ'S
1. The cream and pink tones are disappearing and the leaves are turning plain green. Why? Not enough light. Move it to a brighter spot with good indirect light and new growth should come through with the soft cream colouring restored.
2. Can I propagate it? Yes, easily. Take a stem cutting with at least one node and place it in water or moist soil. Roots appear quickly and it's one of the more satisfying propagations going.
3. My Syngonium is getting leggy and sparse. What should I do? Pinch back the longer stems to encourage bushier, fuller growth. It responds well to pruning and will bounce back quickly with a little tidy up.
