Philodendron Mamei 'Silver Cloud' 〰️ Care Guide

 POSITION / LIGHT: Loves bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch its delicate leaves, while low light can dull its silver sheen and slow growth.

  WATERING: Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. Keep it evenly moist, but never soggy. Good drainage is a must to avoid root rot.

  TEMPERATURE: Thrives in temps between 18–28°C. Keep away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes. Humidity? Yes, please—Mamei loves a bit of tropical air.

  FERTILISER: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Ease off in autumn and winter while the plant rests.

GROWTH RATE: Moderate grower. In the right conditions, it can produce impressively large leaves and develop a full, lush look. A moss pole or support helps mimic its natural crawling tendencies.

  PET FRIENDLY? No. Like most philodendrons, the Silver Cloud is toxic if ingested. Keep it out of reach of pets and tiny humans.
