Ā POSITION / LIGHT: Thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate moderate shade. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Ā WATERING: Water when the top 3ā5cm of soil feels dry. It prefers slightly moist soil but hates soggy feet - always check that the pot drains well.
Ā TEMPERATURE: Imperial Green loves it warm and humid, ideally between 18ā26Ā°C. Keep it away from cold draughts and heating vents.
Ā FERTILISER: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. No need to fertilise in the cooler months when growth slows.
GROWTH RATE: Moderate grower. It can reach around 80ā100cm tall over time, forming a dense, upright clump of beautiful green foliage.
Ā PET FRIENDLY? No. Like most philodendrons, itās toxic if ingested by pets or humans. Best kept out of reach of curious paws and nibblers.
