Bright, bold, and beautifully variegated — the Snow Queen Pothos is a striking take on the classic pothos. With creamy white and minty green marbled leaves, this trailing beauty adds an instant lightness to your indoor jungle.

It’s tough, fast-growing, and ultra low-maintenance—making it a go-to plant for beginners and seasoned plant lovers alike. Pop it on a shelf, hang it in a basket, or train it to climb—Snow Queen is as versatile as she is stunning.

Snow Queen Pothos 怰ļø Care Guide

Ā POSITION / LIGHT: Thrives in bright, indirect light to maintain those crisp white variegations. It can tolerate lower light, but the leaves will turn greener. Avoid direct sunlight—it can scorch the foliage.

Ā  WATERING: Water when the top 2–4cm of soil feels dry. Snow Queen doesn’t like to sit in soggy soil, so make sure the pot has good drainage. Slight underwatering is better than too much love. We find that growing them in water, rather than soil, produces better results.

Ā  TEMPERATURE: Loves warm indoor temps between 18–28°C. Keep away from cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.

Ā  FERTILISER: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Regular feeding helps boost leaf colour and fullness.

Ā  GROWTH RATE: Fast! In the right light and with regular trims, this queen will trail or climb her way into full-blown lushness in no time.

Ā  PET FRIENDLY? No. Snow Queen is toxic if ingested—best kept out of reach of pets and little ones.

FAQ'S 怰ļø

How to make Snow Queen Pothos more white?

Light is everything! Place it in bright, indirect light to keep the white variegation strong. Too little light = more green. Just be careful of direct sun, which can burn the leaves.

Why are my Snow Queen leaves turning brown?

This can be due to underwatering, low humidity, or direct sunlight. Check the soil moisture, increase humidity with misting or a pebble tray, and make sure it’s out of the sun’s direct path.

Can you grow a Snow Queen in water?

Yes! Snow Queen roots beautifully in water. You can grow cuttings long-term in a clear vase (just change the water regularly), or use water propagation to root before planting in soil.

How to propagate a Snow Queen?

Snip just below a node (where a leaf meets the stem), pop the cutting into water or moist soil, and keep it warm and well-lit. In a few weeks, roots will appear—and you’ll have a whole new plant to love or gift!
