 POSITION / LIGHT: Prefers bright, indirect light but can also tolerate medium to low light. Keep out of harsh direct sun, which can scorch its glossy leaves.

  WATERING: Water when the top 3–5cm of soil is dry. Imperial Reds like slightly moist soil but hate sitting in water—ensure the pot has good drainage.

  TEMPERATURE: Thrives in warm conditions between 18–28°C. Keep away from cold drafts or heaters.

  FERTILISER: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. No feeding needed in winter when growth slows.

GROWTH RATE: Moderate to fast-growing. With the right conditions, this philodendron can become a lush, full plant over time.

  PET FRIENDLY? Not pet friendly. Keep out of reach of curious cats, dogs, and little humans.
