Peace Lily 〰️ Care Guide

POSITION / LIGHT: Loves bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate low light (though it may not flower as much). Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

WATERING: Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Peace Lilies like regular drinks and will droop dramatically when thirsty—but perk up quickly after watering. Don’t let her sit in standing water.

TEMPERATURE: Prefers temps between 18–26°C. Keep it away from cold drafts and heaters for a happy plant.

FERTILISER: Feed monthly during spring and summer. No need to feed in winter when growth slows.

GROWTH RATE: Moderate. With the right light and moisture, Peace Lilies will continue to push out fresh leaves and occasional blooms throughout the year.

PET FRIENDLY? No. This plant is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets.

What does an overwatered Peace Lily look like?

An overwatered Peace Lily will have limp leaves that feel soft and lifeless, like a deflated balloon. It can look like yellowing leaves, mushy stems, and a droopy plant that doesn’t perk up after watering are signs of overwatering. Check the roots—if they’re brown and mushy, it’s time to repot in fresh, well-draining soil.

Are Peace Lilies dramatic?
