Ā POSITION / LIGHT: Thrives in bright, indirect light. It can handle a bit of lower light, but growth may slow and leaves might not develop those signature splits. Avoid harsh direct sun - it can scorch the leaves.
Ā WATERING: Water when the top 5ā7cm of soil is dry. Monstera likes a consistent routine but doesnāt enjoy soggy roots. Make sure the pot drains well.
Ā TEMPERATURE: Prefers temps between 18ā30Ā°C. Keep it away from cold drafts and heaters for a happy plant.
Ā FERTILISER: Feed monthly during spring and summer. No need to feed in winter when growth slows.
Ā GROWTH RATE: Fast! With the right conditions, Monstera can grow very quickly. It may need support (like a moss pole) as it matures and climbs.
Ā PET FRIENDLY? No. This plant is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of pets.

Why are my Monsteraās leaves turning yellow?
Yellow leaves are usually a sign of overwatering or poor drainage. Make sure the soil isnāt too wet and the pot isnāt holding excess water. Older leaves naturally yellow and drop off over time, tooāitās part of the plantās growth cycle.
What do brown spots on Monstera leaves mean?
Brown spots can be caused by overwatering, underwatering, sunburn, or even fungal issues. Check your watering habits and light conditions. If the soil is too wet, allow it to dry out. If the plantās in strong sun, move it to a shadier spot.
Should I remove sunburned leaves?
Yesāif the leaf is mostly damaged, prune it off to allow the plant to focus energy on healthy growth. If only part of the leaf is sunburned, you can trim the brown areas. Going forward, keep your Monstera out of direct sunlight to prevent future burns.
