Date, Tomato & Ginger Relish by Women's Work 🍅

Rich, sweet and delicately spiced, with a true depth of flavour. Date, Tomato & Ginger Relish is a rich, jammy relish made with sweet dried dates, ripe tomatoes, fresh ginger and a delicate hint of chilli. Slowly cooked for an almost caramelised depth, it balances sweetness with savoury flavour and gentle warmth.

Made for anyone looking for something beyond a traditional tomato relish, it is exceptionally versatile. Spoon it beside curry, dhal, samosas or savoury rice. Pair it with sharp cheddar or creamy blue on a cheese board. Spread it generously through a sandwich or ham and cheese toastie, or serve it alongside pies, cold meats and roast pork.

    About Women's Work

women have shared stories, traditions, skills and recipes as lore, to be perfected over time by each passing of hands. Women's Work call on these traditions and their own practiced skills to share them with you today.
Women's work are makers of small-batch preserves, made naturally, locally and sustainably using recipes perfected over time by generations of creative, skillful women. From these women we learn not only from the traditions they passed down, but also the recognition they passed up for their work. We learn that in order to change the way we think of women’s work, we need to stop giving away our work for free, or less than it is worth. We learn that we ourselves need to believe in the value of our work.
You can taste the quality and freshness of Women's Work preserves, which is a by-product of the ingredients they use from earth’s own fresh bounty. Made by hand with love and care for you to enjoy.
