After soaking in the initial news of a family loved one or friend announcing their pregnancy, our minds suddenly go “what gift am I going to buy?”

Babies tend to grow very fast in the first 12 months, so they will need a lot of clothing. Keep in mind these few things when shopping for clothing:

- A soft play mat for their own play space/tummy time
4. Baby Bath and Body
Babies love bath time, there is a wide range of items to help assist at bath time including:

- Lotions and creams
- Baby hair brush
- Baby towel
- Baby washers
- Or even a bath toy!
5. Accessories

- Affirmation cards or journal
- Or even a new water bottle or cosmetic bag she can take with her to the hospital!

My favourite baby shower gift was a beautiful large crocheted blanket. Having a blanket that is big enough for me and my daughter to cuddle under is perfect.
